I am happiest when I BELIEVE.

Some years there isn't time, money, or occasion to travel to a remote beach for vacation. What to do? One remedy I absolutely swear by is to create the reminiscence of the perfect ocean discovery right in my home.

I have a shell collection and concomitantly, love my interior plants. I decided to introduce some exotic shells and corals into a hand blown glass container planted with several fine orchids.

This vignette replicates an underwater scene right there in my own living space. It's interesting, complex, alive and ocean water cool.

When I look at this small vignette as I do in passing often every day, I do BELIEVE. Soon enough, Jock and I will, indeed, travel to the remote Pacific isle of our dreams.
