2016: Dimensional Work - Hazel Rainbow Hedgehog from The Penstemon Farm Collection - Artist's Collection
"Hazel Rainbow Hedgehog wound her way along the mint-covered pathways. This very small hedgehog lives under my protective branches. The shade and dark rich soil are perfect for the violets she grows.
Her nickname is Rainbow. She has no brown quills. Rather, she has most magically colored ones - pinks, blues, yellows. I think it is because she was born in the wild flower meadow on Penstemon Farm under the most magnificent early summer rainbow I have ever seen."
(quote by The River Birch, narrator of "The Chronicles of Wadleigh Weasel & The Whimbles - An Early Spring Tale" 2015)
