Within a small ancient land called Zir lies an even smaller hidden one known as Caelumen. This miniature land is watched over by its King, Thaddeus, and his Messenger Butterflies. He reigns from Chrysalis, the Palace of Light inside a floating orb centered above Caelumen and its two kingdoms, Ancienna and Lumenesia.

    Ancienna is composed of seven territories. It has always been the home of the wise Anciennans, ageless creatures who for long periods of time reside within Caelumen's deep core. When the King summons, an Anciennan ascends from this underworld upward through the pure waters of The Eternal Spring. He bursts forth from the center of the Blue Lotus Flower just as the sun, Revelato, spreads his rays over the glassy surface. When the sacred blue petals gracefully open to the Sun and the Anciennan steps over them to the water's edge, he knows, as all others who have taken this journey before him, that he will be dream master and storyteller to all who encounter him.

    The other kingdom, Lumenesia, is linked by six colonies named for their denizens, tiny talented beings called Whimbles. Whimbles, their Companions and Friends enjoy the simple pleasures of life: a cozy home, tea and tasty food festivities, indoor and outdoor gardens, storytelling and, especially, the art of sewing. When one Whimble develops extraordinary sewing and tailoring skills, he and only he is touched by the King's Golden Butterfly, Auriana, on Longest Day, The Day of Pure Dreams.

    From that day on, he becomes The Lumenist of Caelumen, and anyone wishing to manifest his most important dream may approach him for a Coat of Light.  It is The Lumenist’s responsibility to recognize whose dreams are pure and whose are not.  It would be very dangerous for all the Land should a Coat be worn by someone whose dream is not authentic nor heartfelt.  A Coat of Light will protect its wearer as he realizes his dream.

    A grassy mesa on Caelumen called The Spine vertically separates the Land into its two neighboring kingdoms much like the halves of a fruit.  It is the major arterial pathway leading north and south, providing the lifeline between Lumenesians (Whimbles, their Companions and Friends) and Anciennans (their mentors, teachers and guides). 

    One dark winter night long, long ago, this pathway was destroyed by a series of catastrophic earthquakes, landslides and avalanches.  When they ended, Caelumen lay divided, her Spine broken. Only a deep Rift remained.  As time passed, conditions worsened and the light, which had always shimmered throughout the Land, dimmed.  As the kingdom lay dying, Thaddeus sent an Anciennan cat from The Rose Sea Coast to the uppermost reaches of Lumenesia to reunite with his dearest friend, The Lumenist and Hillside Whimble, Atterbury.  Through the cat’s courage, sacrifice, love and faith in the face of great doubt and fear, The Spine was restored, the Land healed and the twin kingdoms reconnected.

    Recently, our King saw light dimming on Earth much as it did once on his Caelumen. He chose a group of Whimbles, their Companions and Friends to journey to you to bring his message of hope for a brighter and safer world.
