2014: Dimensional Work - Penelope and Poppy from The Angelic Fey Collection - Artist's Collection
Penelope and Poppy are sisters. The two are angelic but also have an inherent liaison with the elemental world. They particularly love gardens - vegetables mixed with perennials. They commune with hummingbirds, ladybugs, praying mantes, butterflies, and moths. Their favorite moth is the luna.
These two come from cold country. Paradoxically, they represent both snow and warmth. Like snowflakes, they fly about, spying new life as each year unfolds. The redbud trees are a favorite retreat for them. When they see the burgeoning flowers as they sit on a branch, they rejoice.
Their blue felt wrappings keep them warm in flight and perched on branches. If you look, maybe you will see one or both of them. If so, you, too, may rejoice in their magic.
